wulfain Says:
May 14, 2012 - Well.. at least I am sure it is not a polyrhythm
rockandroller34 Says:
May 14, 2012 - seriously, dude thats a polyrhythm not offbeat actually thats one of the hardest things to learn in any instrument.
wulfain Says:
May 16, 2012 - Correct me If I am wrong, I am not pro musician but what vadrum plays at 0:45 quite simple to play..it just sounds like 4:3 groove.. not mentioning about his timing, it is perfect.. but isn't polyrhythm means you play more than one rhythm at the same time? like 4:3 and 4:8 at the same time? like on this song; watch?v=_Vq6NevcLOQ the rhythm starts at 6:00 on the song that i linked, saying again, correct me if i am wrong, not claiming anything since I am not educated about notes.

May 17, 2012 - COMBO FREAK EXTREME MADAFAQA
Yargasblarg1 Says:
May 17, 2012 - he didn't mess up but the beat just sounds out of place. I understand going off the straight beat but usually a polyrhythm still sounds like it is still having a dialogue with the rest of the song. His choice of rhythm there was just completely incoherent with the rest of the song.

May 26, 2012 - It doesn't sounds the best, even if it's on purpose...
JosefPlaysDrums Says:
May 27, 2012 - You kind of have to link Poly-rythmic music types and be heavy into drums to appreciate it, or otherwise it just sounds like a mess up. I see what you mean but yeah. Not a mess up no matter what way you look at it. Refer to the top comment guy's explanation of what he does.
Bru2712 Says:
May 27, 2012 - Well, I actually like it, gives the cover a nice touch of originality; and it looks extremely hard to do...
alfclef Says:
