Romantic music did not hold as much ideological weight as other intellectual and artistic fields. Jan 25, 2012 - Sometimes people take a song and cover it in such a brilliant way it becomes their song. Hendrix did this with "All along the Watchtower". UNfortunately some covers are execrable, in my opinion the Killers doing "Shadowplay" is one of those. The Big Pink fall into the first category, so what if you don't like Beyonce's version, personally I love this one.
