Aug 7, 2011 - nice playing, but the song reminds me of the 70 s 80 s fusion acts attempts to make pop songs. a few by al jarreau, spyrogyra, jazz crusaders worked, but most (even by these 3) were a. embarassing. b. banal c. a failure, cuz they didnt make money anyway. i never understood why they didnt collaborate with good lyricists. (not a comment on her use of english. the american groups worst, forgotten songs are about the same). you have to admit it aint jobim quality text.

Sep 3, 2011 - Astrud's voice sounds a bit below par on this (?)

Sep 11, 2011 - she is singing so flat it is embarrassing. Either the 'one note samba' was all her range could manage or her fold back has died.

Nov 10, 2011 - Only Emily Remler's solo gives this video any socially redeeming value! Astrud Gilberto has always been an embarassment to the world of music!

Feb 2, 2012 - Emily Remier ? ??? OK...... good guitar solo.Astrud Gilberto ! World class singer. She wrote the song... a little out of her genre... but the world class singer."Let yourself go... take a chance"Those who know how reserved Astrud is.... appreciate her approach to this song. Go ask Getz.
Baggles11 Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - Jesus! The first part of the vocal is every so slightly off-key. The last part after the lead break is way off key. Sadly I've heard better vocalists in local pubs. Astrud having a bad night!
TheJazzdr Says:
Feb 24, 2012 - gilberto's not a rock singer, she should have stuck to bossa nova, she defined the genre. Emily is smokin though, and dig the bone players hair-do
luvpants2012 Says:
Feb 26, 2012 - man that whole band was smoking, great bass work as well as guitar. Atrud's vocals were a little "pitchy" but that's because it's not her vocal style.
guitarjunkie777 Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - Um...what's up with Astrud's stiff vocals? Where's the sexy singing that I have come to expect from her? Emily does rock the solo, however.
