May 28, 2012 - Gay or not - Freddie Mercury was a great performer, had a terrific range of vocal capability and unfortunately left us way too early in life. Queen never really caught on early in their career here in the States as much as they did in Europe and I find that a major shame. The talent that Freddie and Brian had was amazing. Their songs are timeless and Freddie was a major talent. Just enjoy this talent - they really are THAT good.
