You reach the summit via a cablecar and then sit on a small car with a brake lever and off you go. Having ridden it once using a little braking, I decided to try it a second time without using the brakes. This is SCARY! I am used to it, having ridden 869 different roller coasters around the world (although it was pretty scary!)C. Top speed is "only" 27 mph...just feels a heck of a lot faster!Glad you enjoyed the video...don't forget to share the link with your mates!

May 10, 2012 - It's an alpine coaster...drops you 2000ft down an Austrian mountainside over a track of 1.8 miles.It isn't boring to ride...trust me!There ARE brakes...I just didn't use them (until the end of the track!)

May 17, 2012 - There a re quite a few of them around the Alpine region of Europe, and some further afield too...check out the manufacturer's website brandauer.cc - the webpage in German gives more details of their other installations under REFERENZEN - including Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Slovenia, South Korea, Slovakia, Switzerland and Russia. This is the only one I have done though.
