Mar 24, 2012 - The movie sucked...Just use Linux!

Gotcha1234Mariok Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - they did not do shit, their engineers did...

vikramaLP Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - i have to say u r wrong, it was the vision that the engineer put into action. It takes 21 engineers to screw a light bulb, 1 to hold the bulb in place and 20 to screw him and the bulb into the socket.......While it takes one idea each from Bill and Steve to light up millions of light bulbs.......

Gotcha1234Mariok Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - And you say I am the primitive one while you mock every single engineer on this planet...It was not the idea of Bill and Steve...They just copied the idea and had the luck to be at the right place in the right time. They are nothing special...If anyone is a visionaire the two of them are not...

Mar 24, 2012 - Steve was always too obsessed with perfection hence why he wanted to be the sole proprietor in both hardware and software. I never looked at it as selling software but to do so you had to buy the hardware. Someone recently said that Apple/Steve was about the software but ingeniously made it that you had to buy their hardware (more profit) to get it. You want iTunes or Final Cut, buy the dongle (the Mac). I don't quite see it that way. Apple is now the leader in both hardware and software.

vikramaLP Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - well it takes an engineer to know an engineer.....i dont mind mocking my own profession....its all the maturity of the fun......well Graham Bell was filed earlier than that poor lady who missed to file her patent. These people are not purely lucky, they knew what exactly they were doing and they had the tools, their brains and wits, Steve went out there to make Toy Story he practically single handedly rescued Disney, Bill certainly had nothing to do with luck but pure brains and vision!

Mar 24, 2012 - So tell me when did they change the world? All what they did could have been done by someone else, all they did was marketing, and that is why i dislike the fact that they made it.They did not invent it they just marketed it.The thing their visions improved mostly was their bank accounts.I wish they instead did it Only for the greater good. Then i would apreciate them.History says they did not do it,that is why in my mind they will always be the bad guys.

Mar 27, 2012 - No they aren't. Stop lying.Windows is still the primary desktop OS and has 95% of the market. For phones it is Samsung with the Galaxy SII being the top selling phone world wide. Android is leading that market and has bigger market share. As for Tablets iPad is leading, but the android is slowly taking that market as well.Apple is not getting new customers, the only ones buying their crap are the same cult idiots who think Apple is nothing but god. The rest of us are too smart to be tricked.

rsh0763 Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - You know, I was fortunate enough to have a father who was a heavy computer user, in he world of design, graphics and architecture. We had every OS on all platforms. The first time I saw a "mouse" or pointing device, was on a design machine, not an Apple product. Yet years later, here is that baby Jobs, crying because MS made their OS graphic. An OS that was TOTALLY different than the Apple offering. The structure and function were different, the only thing alike was how you opened the files.

rsh0763 Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - I agree with that. Gates said that because it didn't matter, MS was and never has been in the computer business. Gates wanted to be able to incorporate the "click to open" programs and manage files in their system which was vastly different than the Mac OS. MS saved Apple's rear, end of story. Windows has always been better, but the hardware Apple made was nice. The bad part is that OEM's ruin MS by trying to add junk to it and their own proprietary stuff. Otherwise Windows would be perfect.

SujanraAcoma Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - It's more about how Bill knew that an inferior product could still win out over a superior one if it was marketed correctly.

vtechyper Says:

Apr 2, 2012 - You don't make $60 Billion by playing nice.

Millahtime Says:

Apr 4, 2012 - @Operator2422221 And look who's making more money now, eh? I guess the money is in Apples "fancy" hardware. Or actually, the money is in Apples total package. The fancy hardware AND software. One of the pioneers who helped develop the concept of the GUI said "people who are serious about software should make their own hardware." Bill was never serious about great software, he was serious about making money, about having the domineering software, not the best software.

Spike90 Says:

Apr 4, 2012 - Thats why internet explorers so hot right?

Apr 24, 2012 - It was later revealed In the movie that Steve was stealing from bill

manco82 Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - Now look, Windows Phone is superior technology to iOS. Who would have thought?

Billybopper1 Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - That would be Allen Kay who made that statement.

Michael Totin Says:

May 7, 2012 - Jobs stole the GUI(graphical user interface) and mouse from Xerox. But not really, Xerox just let them have it. So, it's like my neighbor builds a kit car that's identical to the car some other company gave me. How is that stealing?

bottle2lip Says:

May 8, 2012 - funny how gates pirated apples in house code and used it in his ownbut gets mad when people pirate windows all over the globe lol

thomasbdl Says:

May 18, 2012 - What few people seem to know is that Apple never stole anything from Xerox. When SJ discovered the GUI in Xerox's labs, he asked permission to study it. As they couldn't see the value in it, Xerox's board allowed Apple to do as they pleased. In exchange, Apple granted Xerox permission to buy 100k pre-IPO shares for $1M. When Apple went public, these shares were valued at $18M. So, the GUI was never stolen by Apple. It was traded.Microsoft, however...
