Mar 2, 2009 - Any local politicians watching this?
pancrack Says:
Mar 2, 2009 - Terry - You missed the point - The film is about a better deal for local people and the area. And beware of inverted snobbery...being stuck down is almost as bad as being stuck up you know! Two if us made the film - we are both local and not middle class!
Edward2457 Says:
Jul 11, 2009 - terrychsritsmas - Joan McTigue was voted back in as a cllr in 2007 with a 50% increase in her votes. That tell us that the voters in her ward do not agree with your comments. Perhaps you would like to strate why you have made the comment you did?
Edward2457 Says:
Jul 11, 2009 - panrack - I fear you are wasting your time witrh the likes of Terry. Just look at his language! Clearly he has his own agenda - to bad mouthe a Boro cllr. You notice he gives no reasons to back up his claim though.
Edward2457 Says:
Aug 8, 2009 - I notice that big brave Terry cannot or will not answer Edward. As Edward said, on what do you base your comments?

Mar 29, 2010 - to be honest tc you got a point, the government probaly wanna be seen as enviromental heroes when they take away teeside industry but they only go put it somewhere else like flamin china or india. Hypocrites! The steel plant is partially being mothballed this year and steel something teesiders have great passion for. So if this southern prick thinks he can come n take industry away then where yer gonna employ the thousands out of work eh. Freinds of the earth my arse.
MEGAFIG Says:
Jun 16, 2010 - This very clearly addresses the harsh reality of industrial Teesside; you can't argue with the statistics of the surrounding area. It may immediately feel condescending that the majority of the interviewees come across as "middle class" but it speaks volumes that there is no obvious representative from the affected population. A very well intended and balanced insight into the area.

Jun 16, 2010 - - and i cant argue with your response apart from the fact you forgot about the working class Lazenby man talking about the flarestack waking up his kids - and for the record the plant under construction that he refers to as 'coming closer and closer to our village' is now the great stinker ENSUS biofuels which has temporarily closed down to try and solve the problem of the shocking stink that now blights everywhere downwind from it - i've smelt it in Saltburn!
