I made this as part of an animation challenge on bricksinmotion.com. The goal was to make the coolest lightsaber duel possible.The lightsaber and blaster effects were done in photoshop.

May 26, 2012 - He has a tutorial on how to do it. Except his requires a little more work. You need 2 pictures, one picture with the background. Another one with the figure with other bricks holding it in the air. In the layer panel, you put the background picture on the lowest part, the one with the figure in the front. Then just use the eraser tool to erase the bricks. You need the lighting to remain constant however.
