Feb 4, 2012 - @AnOutlawForever99 They were both unique. TDK was true to its name -- it was DARK. Everything was far darker, more violent, and more corrupt than BB. And Heath... Wow. Don't get me started on how brilliant he was in TDK.BB had a much more positive theme to it, and as somebody else said, it does have a more noir feel to it. The ending with Lt. Gordon waving to Wayne as he glides over Gotham gave the movie a more positive outlook. Also, the sets were not as dark and mysterious as in TDK.

Feb 9, 2012 - @AnOutlawForever99 I think it only feels that way because Begins didn't focus on either Ra's or Scarecrow, whereas TDK actually took time study the Joker, but TDK is still about Batman. It's about how he reacts to a new breed of criminal, how he thinks he can pass the burden of cleaning up Gotham onto Dent so he can find peace, and about how he realizes his place in Gotham as its Knight. Take out the Joker and Batman still has to deal w/ fighting the mob. Take out Batman, there's no movie.
