Apr 20, 2010 - First..I knew that Joaquin was too damn short to play Johnny Cash......then I heard that they had chosen blonde, giggly, cutesy, Reese Witherspoon to be June Carter and i knew they had miscast this poor film to the point that it would be in and out of the theaters in a day or two. Well, I was wrong. Within a few minutes I was watching a young John and June. They carried me back to the day. Fabulous job!

Jul 8, 2010 - True but Jamie Foxx really does have a good voice. And also Jamie Foxx deserves more credit for how he portrayed Ray Charles. He studied old videos of Ray for months before he did the movie, and for the most part he was dead on when it came to acting like Ray Charles.
