Apr 19, 2012 - I often think I'm strange and have odd self-thoughts or insecurities. I'm in no way similar to Lev, but I still relate because I know the feeling of having an odd thought or insecurity.

Apr 20, 2012 - I'd like to use the excuse that life is just for farting around. But I'd also add 'with friends' on there. The older I get (I'm only 21, why am I even thinking about this?), the more I appreciate my friends, my parents and my brothers. If we can make each other happy every once in a while, then the job is done.

Apr 28, 2012 - Ive always thought that the meaning of life is to be happy and make those around you happy, i know it sounds a bit hippyish but its better than constantly looking for money or power, u live u have as good a time as possible and then your worm food. Unfortunatly things like goverments etc, seem to go out of their way to make you as tired and deppressed as they can so its a bit of a struggle at times :/
IIIFadedinkIII Says:
Apr 28, 2012 - A friend of mine and me had a conversation about happiness the other day, and he said is it better to be happy now by doing the things you love or doing the things you hate in the hope it will lead to you being happy later, in this case he was talking about school and college and we spent about an hour thinking about is it really better to go through 20 years of potential misery in the hopes of a slightly elevated position in the far future...

srnk47 Says:
May 5, 2012 - "If i was dying, i doubt i would be concerned that i didn't earn enough money, status, or power but i do think i would be annoyed that i didn't spend enough time lying down in the park looking at trees" :)
srnk47 Says:

May 16, 2012 - When ever I get bummed out over such a insistent existential problem, I remember my ol' friend, Lugwid."He who is afraid to be finite is afraid to exist. All real existence, that is, all existence that really is existence, is qualitative, determinate existence." Ludwig Feuerbach, The Essence of Religion in General: The Essence of Religion in General
darkman1362 Says:
May 17, 2012 - I always have a Hawk-eye-like view on death, i.e. I make fun of it.Of course, the people around me don't particuarly appreciate it.But I figure, screw being sad, when I can be happy. This is why I don't go to funerals, don't understand mourning, or anything like that. Then again, I've never really been affected by death, its quite probable I'm missing something others have.

May 26, 2012 - 3:49 seconds and you focused on the one second of a dogs ass? you okay?
goe5 Says:
May 28, 2012 - I'm not afraid of death, but what I fear most is living forever. Eternity is a long time....to the farthest extent of time you will always exist. When the sun engulfs the earth or when the black hole swallows up everything you will always exist...floating around space. Matter can not be created nor destroyed. Your electrical current flowing through your body will leave once you pass away...into a different dimension only particles apart...known as heaven.
MsPoisonX Says:
May 29, 2012 - I never knew anyone else shared my crippling fear of living forever.
