He also often speaks highly sympathetically of the allegedly exploited aliens themselves, who he claims are being badly mistreated in an inappropriate and disrespectful manner by overly-secretive government officials.Dean is also known for having successfully sued his employer under anti-discrimination laws on the ground that they were treating him unfairly because of his belief in UFOs.Dean is of the belief that the United States government is actively suppressing information about its interaction with alien civilizations, including its possession of alien technology and life forms, through disinformation campaigns and secrecy. He has lobbied the US Congress to relax secrecy oath laws of top security and military officials, so that more will be able to comment on UFO-related matters with impunity. After retiring from the military, he made the courageous decision to defy his Oath of Secrecy and began to speak publicly about what he had learned from the inside. Oct 20, 2011 - Contradictions rattle my brain - I love this guy but I can't make the connection of a person having personal contact with ET from age 2 being blown away by a report of their existance while stationed at SHAPE. It's a little difficult to tap my toe to the tune without clarification. SGM Dean is a great guy, but probably a little windy. I kinda like that in an old soldier - or airman as the case may be.
