Added: Jul 18, 2010

Duration: 5:15

Description:
We've been calling Kahn an idiot for quite some time (and that was before his annual "Pay a Bucks backup point guard 16 million dollars" signing of Luke Ridnour). We won't even get into the whole trading your best player away for nothing Al Jefferson/Utah deal. Hear the genius first hand in this video discuss his Wolves vision and compare Darko Milicic to Chris Webber. Then hear Webber put Kahn in his place.http://www.nba.com/2010/news/07/23/kahn.fine/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2

Jul 10, 2011 - I don't get all this talk about how C-Webb didn't come into his own til he found Sac considering he was already an all star caliber player in Washington. He always had the talent and the numbers. The only thing that changed in Sac was the team around him so he could actually be on a contending team. So again, C-Webbs and Darkos situation does not compare at all in any way and Kahn really should not mention them in the same sentence. Thats all there is to it

mrmonk1002 Says:

Jul 12, 2011 - Best part is C-Webb's sarcastic "good luck" at the end

brabon1 Says:

Jul 13, 2011 - he was as caliber with golden state...when they traded him, that was the beginning of the end for the franchisei dont know how khan has a gig in the nba...he is an idiot

thejackgreenproject Says:

Jul 13, 2011 - we're not gonna talk about me and Darko at the same time...

Jul 13, 2011 - Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnn

Jul 14, 2011 - man how can you say Kahn is doing a bad job? His players get breakfast and lunch now. Those are like the two most important meals for winning basketball games. Kahn knows this. Rubio heard about the tapas and got his ass on a plane. Beasly is loving the choclate chip pancakes covered in funions. The only problem is Love, cutting in line and pushing people to make sure he gets 10 of both the sausage patties and the waffle sticks.

puckheadtd Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - Webber averaged 17.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 2.2 blocks per game his ROOKIE year. I would say he came into his own very quickly.

ballerboy005 Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - fucking kahn....

slak96u Says:

Jul 15, 2011 - hahahaha good luck

Jul 23, 2011 - 4:54 the best part of it all. Chris is awesome!

manski365 Says:

Aug 13, 2011 - I remember when I was watching this live. Me & my uncle thought Chris was drunk. He looked pissed lol

JSqAuD14 Says:

Nov 9, 2011 - He was also on his 3rd team in a 5 season span. Darko had bounced around in the league as well and that was the point Kahn was trying to make. Webber finally settling down in Sacramento and Darko in Minnesota.

indiefan23 Says:

Nov 28, 2011 - Webber went to a whole other level with Sac though and that's his point. Khan was 'never' comparing their quality. He stated that 'maybe he could develop into our starting center'. I think Khan knows that Webber was amazing before Sac. Their 'situation' compares because like Khan said and like Webber agreed with, all it takes is a good situation and people who believe in you for your career to change which WAS like Webber.

indiefan23 Says:

Nov 28, 2011 - Secondly, it's absurd to think Khan meant they were the same quality of players. It's obvious they are not. Webber's career totally took off once he came to Sac and he became a top 5 player in the league cuz he found a great situation. Darko's career could take off in a similar way in Minny, where by Darko has the tools to become a solid NBA player and maybe even a solid starter is they create a great situation for him. It's literally what he said before Web took it out of context.

CBRYDR Says:

Dec 2, 2011 - Agreed...C-webb arrogantly jumped to conclusions. Even though Kahn used C-webb's career in analogical manner, by no means was he trying to compare C-webbs success / career to that of Darko's. Kahn is right that most players need time to develop and that opportunity to "prove themselves". C-webb wasn't what we know him for until he went to Sactown

dshizznit39 Says:

Dec 8, 2011 - I love Webb's "good luck" at the end. I love it.

ColtinNotChicken Says:

Dec 13, 2011 - They WERE better this year...by 2 fucking games! They ended up with a worse record than a team that lost 26 games in a row!At least the team has a good coach now

IVEGOTBIGD33 Says:

Dec 31, 2011 - Am i the only one who noticed the annoying little kid butting in the interview?

JosephCurrency Says:

Jan 12, 2012 - I think the most embarrassing part of this video is the play on the court. I know it's a summer league game, but still, this is AWFUL!

ojoe629 Says:

Feb 10, 2012 - It's still a poor comparison. Webber was Rookie of the Year at Golden State - they didn't give up on him because he was ineffective, he wanted to leave. He went to Washington, averaged 20 and 10 (with 4+ assists) in four seasons, and made the All-Star team. What "took off" in Sacramento was the quality of the team around him, not the quality of his play. He was at his best in Sacramento, but it wasn't all that much better than what he'd shown in Golden State or Washington.

JSqAuD14 Says:

Feb 11, 2012 - Comment was taken out of context. Webber did in fact move around early in his career no matter the circumstance. Webber fully developed his game & state of mind in Sacramento. On the Kings, he turned it up another notch and became the player that basketball fans grew to love. It wasn't a complete day to night effect going to Sacramento but it sure as hell flipped the light switch on. He matured and took the game more seriously becoming a top 5.

JSqAuD14 Says:

Feb 11, 2012 - **top 5 big in the entire league.

jongie123 Says:

Mar 21, 2012 - Well, I guess Chris Webber was right. Now Minnesota prefer to put Love in center than playing Darco.

badmoonrison Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - The basketball in this clip is so bad.

quinned35 Says:

May 2, 2012 - "mana from heaven"
