Most of Beyonce's songs are remixes of late 60's and early 70's songs. others have been written by people still alive and collecting royalties off the songs. Katy "collaborates" she has an Idea about a song and a basic lyrical or musical line as with fireworks. The song was actually created with Ester Dean of the "Stargate" team in Norway. Taylor sits with a guitar and writes. One must play an instrument to write music!!!!!

On firework she stated that she wanted her ashes shot across the sky like a firework. She then seen in Jack Kerouac's book "On The Road" where some people are buzzing and fizzing like fireworks across the sky and make people go Ahhhh...Make them go ah ah ah She then went to the stargate team to write the actual song. Her concept/idea mostly others music and lyrics.

When you win a Grammy it is because these professionals think you are very talented. Taylor wins because those with experience and talent understand the beautiful simplicity that literally flows through Taylor's music.
