Title: How High The Moon - Samick Archtop
Added: Jul 5, 2007

Duration: 3:8
Description:
A great jazz standard played on a Samick Artist Series edition. I'm thinking of putting this guitar on ebay soon (gotta try to keep the numbers down somehow!!)so see what you think of the sound.Interested parties give me a shout......meanwhile i've had a few questions about the arrangement...It's my own arrangement of the tune, with a load of other things thrown in too.As with all my stuff it's just a bunch of ideas i ripped and stole from so many different places i can't even remember. No tabs yet but maybe on the way...!Big thanks to everyone who commentedN

Jan 26, 2012 - I'm a guitarist and I cannot tell you how many times I've watched this video. Such a beautiful rendition of this great old song. Great job on both the slow soulful beginning and the upbeat section. Just played so cleanly. Makes me want to get jazz lessons or just quick guitar altogether...

Feb 8, 2012 - Just wanted to let you know I cant get enough of this video. Just a fantastic job! Im drawn to it like the moth that keeps banging up against the porch light. I try to pick up bits and pieces of it, and then I simply forget about studying it and I give a good hard listen. I imagine I will be flying round it for a long time. There is a lot to learn. but it is very inspiring. FWIW, I have a Samick 650 SAT. the 335 knock off. Nice guitar, but Id love to find the HJ650 also. Thanks again.

Feb 12, 2012 - @bensharp9 @sanpeeps For those trying to find info on your HJ650, I too have had difficulty but came across the following method and it seems to have some merit. I read that the year and month follow the "S" in the serial number on the back of the headstock. For example, mine reads S9707..., which would mean it was built in July of 1997. It makes sense as these were indeed in production during that time. I'm of course not certain, but this is the best info I've found. Hope that helps!
