Christianity was once just a bunch of people preaching the word of God, be nice to everyone and all that good stuff. Not a single mention about homosexuality, or sexuality in general. As time went by, and the institution got bigger, the Pope suddenly became a person with real authority and people forgot about the original teachings. So priests and church authority started imposing their own will and beliefs.

That is why I'm not religious anymore. But for some people it works. It makes them happy and gives their life purpose. So that is why I defend it.
