All the kata of Shorin-ryu Seibukan from Zenpo Shimabukuro, our Pinan kata came from Shugoro Nakazato, and Matayoshi-ryu Kobudo (although I am a nidan in Karatedo, regretfully I have only earned 7th kyu in kobudo).

Dec 6, 2010 - That is true, but we are not a Seibukan Dojo. I train in a Dojo with very close ties to the Seibukan dojos of Hanshi Zenpo, and Kyoshi Dan Smith, so we teach all of the Seibukan kata and bunkai. However we also have ties to ShorinRyu Shorinkan (Hanshi Nakazato) so we teach their pinans, as well as some Naha-te kata. Our master is a sifu of shaolin chuan fa (kenpo), so our dan levels become more and more Chinese. We also incorporate basic arnis and Matayoshi ryu kobudo is optional.
