May 28, 2012 - If anything with Demon Hunter's last album, they tried to be add a bit more thrash to their formula and ultimately I think they succeeded. Sonic Syndicate just didn't work. I know the term mainstream in the metal community is considered a "no no word" but honestly, I don't have a problem with a band making more money as long as they are allowed to keep their sound. I think it would be selfish to want my favorite bands to be poor just because I think they'll be better.
