It would be a different story if the reason you listen to the music is because it praises those things, but most people don't listen to rap for example because the song praises sex and such, mostly its because they like the beat. God would be fine if we played Metal in church, but that doesn't really relate to the atmosphere.

Cussing is only a sin if it is being mean to people or using Gods name in vain. Secondly it doesn't matter the history of Metal, it is only how you take it. If I listen to metal and it sings nothing about satin, why is it bad. Also metal is just a style of music. I guarantee there a Christian Metal bands who sing metal as a way of prayer or to be closer to God.

Music, any type, is a form of expression and people can use it as a form of worship. Don't know if metal was started by Satanists, and don't care. Just because something may have started out from something 'bad' doesn't mean it cannot do good.
