There's not enough I can say about this camera. It's pretty awesome in features and performance. The video recording quality is THE BEST. Love the look of it and its performance is Solid. I am more than happy with my Hx9v.

Apr 16, 2012 - GPS Function can be disabled, no prob. I have two NP-FG1 batteries that tell me 188 minutes. (NP-FG1 is info-lithium, tells you how much time is left unlike the NP-BG1 that comes with the camera). This has been a great camera to have, especially for video and if you have the settings right, you can zoom in past the 16x to a digital 22x. I have taken it to Asia a couple of times, it's a little bulky but the pictures are great for a non-SLR, the video on an HDTV will blow you away.

Apr 16, 2012 - Also make sure you get a Type10 SDXC card. I recommend at least 32GB; my 16GB I am constantly dumping to make room. The pics and vids can get bulky in size.
