Feb 18, 2012 - @InternetOneOS these theories aren't just made up from nowhere, complex maths brings it about, if you can show a working formula to prove aliens in the 42nd dimension then you should publish your findings. I'm not saying this theory holds truth but it works mathematically so they aren't doing anything wrong by trying to find evidence for it.

Mar 24, 2012 - They said it themselves in this series that the "extra dimensions" that string theory eludes to are not actually novel or new. They are 3 dimensional. It's actually very misleading and I don't know why they would use that word for it. It seems like it was used to create hype or something.

Apr 25, 2012 - there also is no "evidence" for atoms either, noone ever saw one. so atomtheory = philosophy ?bullshit. we will indeed never see an atom or string probably, but we need to make kind of reactions in my opinion. and keep colliding protons is out, they need something new. another problem would be the dimension-problem. we can only see 3 space dimensions.. and just will NEVER see 4 space dimensions..or even 11 total dimensions. people can go stand on their heads and do whatever they want. good luck

If you are too excited and enthusiastic and "competing like mad dogs" to prove your geeky nerdy silly crazy theory, which you think would be the greatest thing ever done, then how do we trust that you really did discover that tiny particle and it was not just some bug that farted in the tube and screwed up your measurements; and you, not wanting the 20 years of life effort to go to waste, just neglected that possibility?
