Mar 19, 2012 - I got into Marillion first because it was my era. then I was told about Genesis with Gabriel and I really got into and obsessed with their music, just like I did with Marillion - but listening to this now is just incredible, they were such a fantastic band, and should be immensly proud of what they achieved in those days together (with Fish). Respect to the music.

May 23, 2012 - I was given my first ever stage pass to photo a major band at this gig. Having thumbed a lift to London from South Wales, it was during a period I spent out of work and was developing my own film and printing . Memories I had to sell a few of my hand printed photos outside gigs just to get say a T shirt. Fish saw to it I got a stage pass and had some of the backstage r food and beer. I won 3rd prize in the 1983 National Eisteddfod with the resulting photos from that night. Thanks Fish & band

May 23, 2012 - I'm fairly new to Marillion, so I'm not familiar with much of their stuff. However, the little bit I have heard is VERY remiscent of early 70s Genesis, and Fish even seems to have a similar voice and stage presence to Peter Gabriel from the 70-75 era of Genesis. I'm sure Marillion's output was probably better than Genesis' 80s output. But 70s Genesis is pretty tough to top when it comes to prog rock.

May 28, 2012 - I am so jealous of you guys that got to see them back then! I was in bfe Oklahoma then... :( lucky I ever discovered them at all! But 24 years later and I am in Belgium of all places and finally got to see Fish live in Haarlem in the Netherlands! I remember when I excitedly opened a much awaited xmas prezzie.. their latest cd (living in tx then) only to find no Fish!!! I took it back! Fish is a god! A true minstrel. There'll never be another Marillion (orig)!!!!

Mar 2, 2012 - @beez68I actually reckon Marillion were pretty good without Fish as well, but Marillion without Fish and Fish without Marillion just weren't the same...
