Jan 15, 2012 - This brought tears to my eyes and I can't even tell you why. It's out of joy and happiness brought by this music and it's something about missing a legend while listening to a composition that brings serenity to me.

Feb 16, 2012 - those pianos are not in tune with each other -painful!
cermo100 Says:
Feb 21, 2012 - @tartandaddy one of them is playing the first half of that piece and the other one is playing the 2nd half of that piece. It isn't suppose to be in the same tune.

Mar 31, 2012 - what is wrong with you?! its perfect harmony! ! ! how musically learned are you?
tartandaddy Says:
Apr 1, 2012 - cursed with perfect pitch - the skill in playing is absolutely incredible, yes I agree - but the piano's are not in tune with each other - it gives me toothache to listen to it.
TheMrSteinway Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - i still do not know what you mean. the major 7ths or the minor 2nds as we hear them are part of the harmony, rather than being out of tune. i think you do not really understand the term "out of tune". The pianos are tuned to one basis: A440. You can tell they are in tune by the last chords- they are perfectly synchronised
tartandaddy Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - perfectly synchronised shows the skills of the pianist's - which is unquestionable, I have said this already. I suffer from perfect pitch - the piano's - after being tuned together, for whatever reason (heat,TV lighting) have slightly slipped out of tune. I can hear it loud and clear , ask anyone with perfect pitch and they will agree. It is not the talent of the pianists it is the pitch of the piano's. I am sorry I don't know how to make it any clearer.
