I think a lot of bad accidents happen because drivers believe too much hype and think they can bend the laws of physics behind the wheel. Technology should be used to minimize risk and maximize performance, but shouldn't intrude on the visceral thrill and challenge of driving. Seeking to idiot-proof cars today will only serve to put more idiots on the roads.
