Apr 9, 2012 - I'm an agnostic Christian. I agree with you but there is just the same or less evidence that God doesn't exist. I don't think anyone should be a full atheist. I think they should be agnostic atheists. But religious gatherings are good to have because it teaches what they think is right and helps people get through their problems and help others with their problems. That is why I believe in faith but don't say everyone should act like they know for a fact. Just go with whatever you believe.

Also, any gathering of community can teach and help people, it doesnt have to be spiritual and in most case the spiritual elements hold it back because they were conceived in primitive times so contain outdated and false knowledge. Atheists dont say they know for a fact, they look at the evidence and come to the conclusion that probability favours gods non-existence. Dont go with whatever you believe go with what is the truth.

I search for the science of things and I definitely believe in evolution but not sure what I think of the big bang based on evidence. I LOVE science and I'm really good at it. Jesus, and these days priests(through confessions), forgive people of their bad deeds(or crimes) without consulting the person affected by the bad deed. And many more which (some)people dont follow these days but which used to be adhered to strongly.
