May 22, 2012 - This is like getting in a time machine and going back to my 8th grade dance. One minute you're rock n roll dancing, next minute you're slow dancing with your girl! Nice memories. Mark, Don and Mel!

May 22, 2012 - This song has a spiritual meaning to me. I lost my daughter Amy in 2003 and she got to go home early. As I hear the rolling end to this song I feel I am getting closer to home too where she is. I envision a distant lighthouse that points my ship to that destination, as it heaves in the stormy waves toward heaven and home.

May 22, 2012 - I loved this song for 2 reasons: 1) it absolutely ROCKS and 2) when I used to DJ in a little club overseas it was plenty long enough to take a bathroom break :D

May 24, 2012 - It's because they can't make this music...We will never hear this music again. Turned on to GFR by my cousin who was in 'Nam when I was 9 (1969)..They were the first concert I saw in 1974...Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n Roll..(not so much on the sex but you get my point)...Thanks for posting..

May 25, 2012 - Knowing how much I love my kids, I can not imagine the pain. We are not wired to lose a child in our lifetime. No one can take away the pain...only the one above. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a child.

May 26, 2012 - The current lineup screwed Mark Farner out of his group, using the name and even mentioning his involvement while performing - only in America - lawyers - not justice.

May 29, 2012 - Used to play this song on my guitar when I as in 6th grade (1972). It wasn't until years later I realized that the song wasn't about someone going home but about a mutiny and an attempted murder. Heavy stuff.

May 20, 2012 - Great song, great band. they don't make 'em like this anymore, and it's nice to hear REAL music instead of the trite pap they put out today.
