May 18, 2012 - First thing I wanted to say Isos is a universal(not just dance) concept. From what I've heard turfing is mainly concept not the actual moves. It has a large focus on optical illusions(your isos and glides), storytelling, personal style(which is why its so varied), and expression. It definitely takes heavy influence from popping(it was founded from boogaloo dancers as a matter of fact)and miming.
