Apr 3, 2012 - Beautiful!!! But as much as I love this version of the song, and as much as I love Ray Charles' wonderful voice, I'll go with the original writer on this one anytime. Just my opinion, of course... but Leon Russell, the Master of Space and Time wrote this beautiful ballad as well as many other classics. And his touch on the piano is, IMHO, second to none!Again.... just my opinion.... no offence to anyone intended!

Apr 21, 2012 - I respect your opinion, but the fact is, there are great song writers...and there are great enterpreters of song. Paul Anka wrote "My Way", Sinatra was the master of the enterpretation of that song even though Anka would perform it at his own concerts. Russell wrote a great song here...however Ray Charles was the better enterpreter, no doubt about it! Better resonance, better intonations, better phrasing, better everything!!!
