Jun 18, 2011 - I meant legit modding being illegal (like D2 modding that requires replacing game files), because when you accept the generic EULA of most games, it clearly states that you will not modify the game files in any way. There is no developer that will sue some modder for modding their software, as long as that dude doesn't make profit off it through some non-legit ways. I was not talking about WoW private rervers that ask for money (because piracy should be free in every way.

Jun 18, 2011 - @NogarkhazThat still depends much on what it acctually changes, like for instance the modding community of the TES series, you have a lot of texture mods, mods which adds new items, which adds scripts and generally alter the files. But it is okay according to the developers even if it states it ain't in the EULA.

It is illegal, because you accepted not to do it, but nobody tells you anything so it is fine. Mods are absolutely ok, nobody will argue with that, because they add to the game, do the devs' job for free, and are overall awesome, that's why nobody says anything against them. ;)

Jun 23, 2011 - @NogarkhazStill it depends, if I change things for instace if I fix a glitch in the game, and say it is a mod, I would go against the EULA, but if I make a normal Modification which Adds something also known as Addon which is Leagal. This has been taken up many times in courts and national law enforcement, though since it ain't clerified as a patch or version changing it can't be seen as a illeagal modification. It can be seen as a addon which often are called mods.

Oct 24, 2011 - god i beat this game in about a day, it was so easy and i wish it was a open world like guerrilla warfare. the game REALLY dissapointed me gameplay wise, weapons were pretty cool but the pony thing creeped me out
