Mar 2, 2012 - I don't agree. Covering is not an attempt of rewriting a song. No one covers a song for thinking it could be better. Covers are done more like homages to great works. And a real good work proves itself imortalized when its meaning and soul are preserved no matter how many interpretations are given to it. Everyone can cover The Cure.
