Feb 27, 2012 - I discovered Elliott's music on Good Will Hunting, a favorite movie of all time. Music not only perfect for the movie, but also that obviously touched a multitude of souls. Apr 9, 2012 - i don't know what i could say. no comment could do Elliott justice. i just hope he had a fraction of an idea of how many people he soothed with his music. one of the biggest regrets of my life will be never seeing him play live. i don't think anything touches my heart the way he does. i can't listen to his music unless i'm in the mood, cause it just transports me and affects me so.

When I think of what his music means to me, it hurts - knowing I can't find a word, or put my finger on what it does mean to me. I can't comprehend it, but I listen to the same albums, day after day, year after year, and they become more and more a prart of me. Love you Elliott!My favourite memorial comment in the video is the small one in messy pencil: "Thanks for everything man" -sums it up really well.

May 27, 2012 - With a lot of bands or artists, people they feel like "they have an EXTRA special connection" to them, or deep down that they are "truly their number one fan!", and I admit I get that way kinda with some artists... but when it comes to Elliott, he is one exception, where I don't mind sharing. I fully get that other people just might actually relate to Elliott as strongly as I do. Elliott Smith fans are a breed, every time I meet a fellow fan, we're instantly friends, it's amazing. One of a kind.
