Apr 22, 2012 - Sunday, 4/22/12. It looks to me like these elephants need a big lake of cool water. The only thing they have for relief from the heat is a small mud hole. What I surmise from this video, is that the adult elephants want to treat the baby elephants first, for relief from the heat. That's how elephants are; they put the needs of their young and others before their own. As a result, the baby elephants almost drown in the mud. All the while, the idiot tourists are laughing. NOT FUNNY AT ALL!

Apr 24, 2012 - Great footage, but I wonder what all the fuss is about amongst the people posting here! The baby elephant was in no danger from drowing, whatsoever, and was not exhausted from struggling in the mud. It is plain to see, for anyone who knows anything about elephants, that it was enjoying itself in the wallow. It was only at the end, when it clearly did need a bit of help, that the rest of the family stepped in, very promptly, with a helping trunk and foot. Get a life, people.

Apr 24, 2012 - The little elephant was just having fun, not exhausted. People kept laughing because it was cute. And it was even cuter when his family helps him and he succeed at going out. There is nothing bad at laughing, it made me smile too, and i doubt you love animals more than i do.
