You can now download videos that you upload onto YouTube. Check out your My Videos section and click on Download MP4 for any of your uploaded videos. You cannot download other content producer's videos, unless they themselves enable downloads of their own videos.Here's an example of the URL to download your own videos: http://www.youtube.com/download_my_video?v=Be9Sl9BTIqsMake sure to replace the video identification number with your own video's address!If you're receiving an MP4 error here's YouTube's response:"The button disappearing isn't a bug, its actually how the feature works...You can download (to MP4) your own videos that you uploaded to YouTube. This download option is only available for your video uploads, not for other users' videos.To download your own videos to MP4:1. Sign into your account.2. Click on the "Account" link in the top right hand corner of your screen.3. Under My Videos click "Uploaded Videos". 4. Find the video you'd like to download and click the "Download to MP4" button. PLEASE NOTE:-- There is a limit of TWO downloads per hour for downloading your video to MP4. The "Download to MP4" button will not appear next to your videos if you've already downloaded two videos in an hour. Jan 4, 2012 - You can only download 2 per hour, is much faster to get an addon for your explorer so you can download ANY VIDEOS as much as you want. :)

Sep 13, 2011 - I was able and just downloaded videos I made years ago as mp4, now the button is completely gone. Anyone have an idea? Is youtube breaking things again??? lol
