May 18, 2012 - I wouldn't say it was "terrible". More of a "what, are you actually serious, how can you respond to an intelligent exchange of ideas with that fucking nonsense" type of comment. But that's just me. Old Skool, baby.

lightster Says:

May 19, 2012 - I'm sorry, but if your hatred and distrust of all religion is so strong that you would allow it to come between the uncompromising promise of love and family that this song represents, between Tim and his daughter, I don't see how you are any better than our religious bretheren.I don't think Faith is the right word for the line, but I think putting a condition on "We'll always be here for you" with "So long as you're an atheist" is despicable.

azukar8 Says:

May 19, 2012 - Okay, so this is an absolutely beautiful song, one of the nicest things I've ever seen on Youtube, and it deserves ten times the views and 100 times the recognition it currently has, but there's one major flaw which I can't get past.Waiting in the *sun*? In *England*?! Pull the other one, Tim :P

ashervisalis Says:

May 19, 2012 - I think he lives in Australia now...?

lightster Says:

May 19, 2012 - Tim, I cannot thank you enough for helping me both become an atheist rather than agnostic, and for helping me attach to my family and the holidays. You have, with no caveats, helped me become a better person. While I appreciate a lot of your songs and videos, this one specifically is pure amazing. Despite the few minutes in length, this fully qualifies for the title "Epic" in my eyes.Thank you Tim. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

azukar8 Says:

May 19, 2012 - Wikipedia suggests he lives in London, but based on the evidence of his song we'll have to assume he means Melbourne :P

czechreck Says:

May 20, 2012 - I have to reply and give you a big virtual hug on this statement. This song picks me up when I'm down, and affirms my faith in humans.

sloonzz1012 Says:

May 20, 2012 - I think he's just criticizing the idea, not really religious people.. but whatever.

ashervisalis Says:

May 20, 2012 - Oh, my gf just told me he's an Aussie living in London.

Ryan9145X Says:

May 20, 2012 - FML. Damn it stop putting words in my mouth. I rejected the rewrite, I didn't say Tim should reject his daughter if she chooses to believe in a god. I run into this bullshit from atheists all the time who put themselves up on an ironic holier than thou pedestal of tolerance. I respect everyone's right to believe what they want. I don't reject a person on those grounds. But I DO NOT respect those beliefs themselves. I don't respect the idea that the world is 4,000 years old or that there is a god

B1ushMoe Says:

May 22, 2012 - He was born in Perth, Australia. My hometown <3I remember listening to Tim on the Radio in the 90's.

mixedUpMilz Says:

May 22, 2012 - He's Australian! He wrote this song about his new born baby girl and taking her home for christmas :)

May 23, 2012 - this should definitely get Christmas no.1 (he says at the start of summer, but still!)

semiLivedj Says:

May 24, 2012 - Great song!

AuzFreak Says:

May 24, 2012 - You couldn't tell he was an Aussie from his accent? :P

zentrola Says:

May 24, 2012 - he s crying :o

7times2many Says:

May 24, 2012 - Ok, that's your opinion. It doesn't have to be everyone else's. I can't stand it when people try to force their beliefs, religious or otherwise, down other people's throats.

ashervisalis Says:

May 25, 2012 - I'm accent deaf. I can't tell the difference, ha.

mattschlam Says:

May 25, 2012 - Thank you Tim. I love your work.Keep it coming man. CheersMatt Schlam

Ryan9145X Says:

May 25, 2012 - When did I shove my beliefs down your throat? I missed that. I just said I respect everyone's right to believe what they want. But I'm just saying I find those beliefs ridiculous. Jesus, you people are thick.

7times2many Says:

May 25, 2012 - Haha, us people? You particularly aren't doing that, sorry, it was more of a general statement.

tomitstube Says:

May 28, 2012 - this is about how i used to feel. now i don't care anymore, about it or them.

Shedlad93 Says:
