Dec 27, 2010 - As it happened on her experience, the LSD "shuts down" the racional hemisphere of the brain. That´s why you have psychodelic and spiritual experiences. The problem is that people use LSD as a recreational drug, instead of seeking it´s real benefits.

Jan 5, 2011 - "And by the way, mixing her life philosophy she's drawn from the experience and the neuroscience damages her credibility significantly in my opinion."Opinions are like assholes; everybody's got one. Only when trapped in the stench of someone else's fart, riding the elevator between floors does everyone wish they could say: "Not me. I don't have an asshole."

Mar 16, 2011 - I don't think this is like an LSD trip, but more like an E trip, in that you feel one with the universe and understand we are all connected light beings!

Mar 22, 2011 - i like the interviewd...saw all of it on TED but its got nothing to do with law of atraction
zrhealey Says:
Apr 1, 2011 - This is so bizarre... Extremely new age, and seemingly lacking rationality.I admire Jill for her strong willpower and getting through her ordeal with the stroke. She is an amazing person for that, but we should not rejoice when logic and reasoning die.Keep your mind open, but not so open that your brain falls out.

Apr 11, 2011 - I seriously hope the people who donated their brains were open to the idea this woman would use them for her dramatic presentations.
RaptorClaws24 Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - It was her experience and your judgement of her is based on your ego, that you don't approve of her translation because YOU wouldn't respond the way she did. I think given what she went through personally AND as a scientist she has more credibility speaking to this than your egotistical ideal of how she should have stated it. Science explains what happened to her physically, but it cannot translate as eloquently as she did what her experience actually was.

Apr 14, 2011 - What is amazing to me is that you are stalking around Dr Taylor's videos to disparage her. Actually, you may be a real stalker using her first name the way you do.
zrhealey Says:
Apr 14, 2011 - Yeah, I'm a stalker... on YouTube comments section. That makes perfect sense! No. I'm just angry about her spreading misinformation all over the damned place.
luckyycharrm Says:
Apr 15, 2011 - Okay, first of all I do not remember the content of the video. Second, I am not egotistical in the least sense. From what I remember, I was saying that how she presented the brain was not objective at all. I don't care how qualified she is, the way she presented the facts is just plainly subjective and that is not what science is about. She could speak about her experience all she wants but backing up what she experienced with misleading scientific facts is just wrong.
luckyycharrm Says:
Apr 15, 2011 - Also, you could believe whatever you want, but do not trash what I am saying by suggesting that my comment is based on my egotistical ideal. That is plainly dumb. Likewise, how would you like it if I say you are egotistical because you refuse to believe that her experience is incredible in any sense?
ivyshoots Says:
Apr 15, 2011 - Where do "logic and reasoning die" in anything Dr Taylor said or wrote? I read the book, and there was nothing "new age" about it, in fact, it was all VERY logical and scientific. She's about as new agey as Carl Sagan. Your comment is what's "so bizarre." What's your problem with someone suggesting that we can do a lot better with our brains than we do right now? I don't actually know your objection to her, so I'm just guessing you're some dystopian nihilist poseur.
zrhealey Says:
Apr 15, 2011 - I'm as far away from being nihilistic as can be. Dr. Taylor's ideas still weird me out though.
ivyshoots Says:
Apr 15, 2011 - okay, you are very mysterious, that's great. I'll ask again, what specific "ideas" weird you out, are so bizarre, extremely new age, and lack logic, reasoning, and rationality. You said ALL that without supplying a single example, so I took a wild guess. It doesn't really matter to me what YOU are, I would just like you to back up your conclusions with some of this "reasoning" you make a show of valuing so highly. What did she say to set you off?
KatiaTemAxePoderoso Says:
Apr 16, 2011 - when I see the world and my life, I SEE ATTRACTION LAW IS NOT TRUE! I watched the video to know if have something interesting & new, bcs I would like that it was true .

Jun 25, 2011 - I can't believe people really gobble this "law of attraction" bullspit up... Just focus on what you want and it'll come to you... B.S... Don't entertain people like this. Stop giving them your money.
