Sep 25, 2011 - I grew up around Billy Vaughn's music. At about two years of age, I danced to his "Swingin' Safari" As an alto saxist in high school, I used his recordings to pattern my vibrato after. My private teacher said, "Now Billy Vaughn-that's how a sax should sound!!" AT one time I had many of his Dot 45's. But was was great in backing up Pat Boone and others in late '50's early '60's.

Apr 21, 2012 - My Dad loved this record, we had this at home and he played it loads of times, when he was at work I played it mostly every day. I loved this and I think of my Dad every day. I can just see the old record player now in the small front room at home. I have since acquired a Billy Vaughan LP with a lot of his music on., £2 in a charity shop, brilliant....... I also still have the 78. Thank you for sharing this music.

This song sure takes me back to the happiest days of my childhood, when my parents were in their prime, and dad had this record playing all the time. He loved this album. How I miss those days, of childhood bliss, and the sweetness of our home filled with beautiful music...my dad alive and in love with his family and his music.
