Jan 25, 2012 - For some of the other games, I suppose that they'd just give you an idea of what the player is capable (or not) of doing. And then, of course, there's Gradius. The Vic Viper's been through a lot of games, and is pretty much a legend, but only one game mentioned its combat specs. To some of us Gradius lovers, it makes us happy, and is a mark of respect, of sorts. Also, if you've played Zone Of The Enders: The Second Runner, nothing beats experimenting with the weapons, IMHO. ^_~

Mar 23, 2012 - Out of curiosity, which is a better bet: launch catapults, or normal take-off with landing gear? If you compare both versions, the PC Engine one showed the Vic Viper's landing gear, which probably folded into the wings once launched into space. On the other hand, the launch catapult in this version probably could've launched the Vic at a much greater speed. Of course, I'm not much of an expert in aviation. ^_^;;

Mar 24, 2012 - That's a very excellent question , i had this problem with the original intro that the landing gear is not a wheel, then when it launched, the video cropped intro small size screen that we don't know if it launched without the landing gear or scratching the surface making sparks like crazy, cuz it's not made of rubber wheel, so i decided to make it the launch catapults cuz my video will show the full screen of it. Thx

Apr 2, 2012 - Surely there must be a few programs you could use. Game Maker comes to mind, but I'm not too proficient in it myself. And as far as shooters go, you might have to look up some AI tutorials in order to make the enemies more aggressive, among other things. Just a few cents.
