Feb 21, 2012 - Please do! Game Gear was released 8 years before Game Boy Color and Sega dropped the support for it over a year before GBC's launch. So those two systems never actually competed against each other. GB and GBP were still better handhelds and more portable than any competition.

Feb 25, 2012 - Ok I admit I liked this better than the ORIGINAL gameboy, the original gameboy was the only game boy I had trouble seeing with, since the images on screen were so faded compared to the rest of the gameboys, plus I could play this in any lighting condition, the gameboy did have a better game library but I never really could enjoy it untill the pocket and the color, if the pocket was out right away I would have liked it better than the game gear, *continue*

Feb 25, 2012 - *continued, read my other comment* Plus the game gear battery was not all bad, if you bought one of the best batteries it would last 6 hours, and game gear games were mainly quick arcady games so you would not use the whole thing in one sitting and it had it's share of really good games, Overall the gamegear was really good, it lasted for MANY years unlike the lynx, and for a good reason too

Feb 27, 2012 - While color pallete is different Gameboy and Gamegear are the same internally. They both are Zilog Z80 CPU and screen res of 160x144. It was funny when Sega used to Troll Nintendo in their commercials though.
