If it was not for YOUTUBE we may have had a much more difficult time sharing our wonderful memories and treasured inspirationals with our younger friends and relations... May 19, 2012 - Levon was clearly the driving creative force of the band.Despite what Robbie might say or think.You listen to Levons music after the break up and it is clear and consistent evidence of his predominant influence even in the song you are hearing now.Most people know Robbie screwed Levon out of his rightful royalties ..but Levon is gone now and if Robbie had a soul he would at least pay his kids..but history is telling the tale and Levon died with his character and honesty in tact.

May 28, 2012 - I've heard that Rob Pattinson has signed to be in a movie about The Band. Trying to figure out which one he could play. Rob is a good guitar and piano musician and looks a lot like the drummer. He is also a natural mimic, but I don't know if he can do a Southern accent and sing in that voice range. He is a good singer but not that style at all. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Some of them were canadians though. It would bring their stuff back into style again.
