Nov 21, 2011 - what a whining baby. theres no excuse to be late for a job ever.
Cormalek Says:
Dec 20, 2011 - @shaNiiC3e: FoxNation has at least once re-reported ONN news as real source. But it being Fox, and the article having bad spin on Obama, it's unclear if they F'd up or just wanted to do the usual bit to their viewers.
xThaKidWhoYouAdmirex Says:
Jan 2, 2012 - OMFG its not a real news report -_- who has ever heard of "The Onion News Network" look at their videos...
Demineralize Says:
Jan 6, 2012 - this news is realer than fox news
DARR0Y Says:
Jan 20, 2012 - THE ONION NEWS NETWORK SKITS ARE FAKE, INTENDED FOR SATIRICAL PURPOSES. PEOPLE, THIS IS NOT REAL!
Tamizushi Says:
Jan 25, 2012 - I actually don't find it unrealistic. For people in mourning, trying to focus on something else, like their job, is a common way to deal with the pain.
Erduk Says:
Jan 27, 2012 - Not very funny.
epfrostwraith Says:
Feb 5, 2012 - One of the best onion skits ever. As far as I'm concerned, comedy is great because it touches on real thoughts and feelings without us having to feel bad or awkward about them, thus breaking through psychological defenses. Like Tamizushi said, it's not all that unrealistic. People really do try to occupy their minds with work after horrible tragedies. It's a good thing to acknowledge it every once in awhile.

Mar 1, 2012 - the funny comes from the believers
earthwalker7 Says:
Mar 1, 2012 - @thedeviantguy I get that. I do agree tho that people who still take the Onion as real news are hilarious. But I just didn't find this funny at all. Death of a spouse, crippling of kids, a husband throwing himself into his work to avoid the pain, and essentially no real jokes. It was kind of like, "hi, my life partner and half my soul just died in a car crash and my kids are crippled. ha ha. " so the result is, I don't get why that is funny. Just sad and no jokes. It's just a flat sketch.
phocjame Says:
Mar 3, 2012 - This is possibly the only Onion segment in which the characters are not moronic jerkasses.
dreamingpixles Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - I think the onion found the line between black comedy and tragedy and is doing the merengue on it. Also, isn't this the same guy who plays the kick-ass FDA commissionner?
HerrSchnabeltier Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - I thought the same really. I just found this depressing.
cooeeoh9 Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - I love his deadpan delivery --"Yeah, well, as you might expect, the pain's unlike anything I've ever experienced before" . I like this actor.
indecentthinking Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - Wants to only answer questions about the presidentCan't answer any questions about the president anywayLove it.
farneyblakeley Says:
Apr 11, 2012 - it's a joke on the impersonal nature of that position, the guy's job is to talk about the President, nobody ever asks the press secretary personal questions, period
shampoodaking Says:

StevenDefoe8 Says:
May 8, 2012 - I admire his professionalism.
robto Says:
May 19, 2012 - Actually i disagree with you. I found it rather funny. It's called dark humor. It's making fun of sad and tragic episodes. That's what dark humor is supposed to be

normalpsychology Says:
Oct 24, 2011 - Possibly the worst Onion skit ever.
