May 28, 2012 - This entire argument is void and retarded, and now I have contributed. :) Did you know what sets us apart. THE YEAR. WE. WERE. BORN. IN. Wow, isn't that exciting.

May 29, 2012 - heskey started the fire.
tarmogr Says:
May 29, 2012 - You can bring so many parallels to todays world, just depressing. "Secret soceties"(JFK speech) started the fire!!!
MrDanP1 Says:
May 29, 2012 - I am not sure which generation Stiff Kittens was even referring to. Stiff Kittens made that comment in reply to another comment which lambasted the actualy current youngest generation. Therefore, I got the impression Stiff Kittens was referring to the generation which grew up as the song was coming out (my generation). My generation has contributed some, though there is the potential to do much, much more...which is currently being squandered

May 29, 2012 - YES. WIN.
Tyler Swaffar Says:
May 29, 2012 - so JFK caused the Arab Spring.. yah i guess that makes sense.
MrDanP1 Says:
May 29, 2012 - Okay...so his analogy was a little off. There are still parallels. I would say that what is referred to as "Russians in Afghanistan" and "Ayatollahs in Iran" are still fairly relevant...they have big implications for what is going on in the world today
The10nthdoctor Says:
May 29, 2012 - I like this song. Please dont ruin it with your stupid obnoxious comments.
The10nthdoctor Says:
May 29, 2012 - At 2:12 the picture is a Pulitzer prize winner, of an execution who earlier that day, the man being shot had killed the shooters family, fun background
Tyler Swaffar Says:
May 29, 2012 - no i was actually serious JFK the implications of this are almost infinate say if JFK had just given up on the space race mark zuckerbergs' dad may have never met mark zuckerberg's mom in a bar (or something) watching Apollo 11 land on the moon. no zuckerberg; no facebook if there was no facebook people may never have got as organized and it may have never happened... just for example
Tyler Swaffar Says:
May 29, 2012 - wrong speech i'm a derp -_- but you get the idea
MrDanP1 Says:
May 29, 2012 - Okay, sorry. I actually believe the most important event(s) from the 20th Century was (were) World War I and the 1919 Paris Peace Conference that ended it. Most of the conflicts that happened in the 20th and early 21st century had their roots in what was decided by Wilson, George, and Clemenceu. From the fall of Czarist Russia, to the decision not to let areas of the Third World be self-governing...the roots are in 1914-1919. As for the Arab spring, i think bound to happen sooner, or later
MrDanP1 Says:
May 29, 2012 - anyway...but Facebook had a hand in when it occured...Facebook made it happen sooner, rather than later
Tyler Swaffar Says:
May 29, 2012 - i completely agree with you the space race was caused by WWII which intern was caused by WWI

MrDanP1 Says:
May 28, 2012 - PS: I don't know how many communists were debating non-Communists at Ole Miss...I think that had more to do with race relations in the country...even if it did occure during the Cold War............................
