Mostly, it has to do with our trade imbalance, our deficit spending, and tax structure. It took several decades to get us to this point, and it will take time to get to a better place, ecomically. The Tea Party seems to understand the situation a lot better than Democrats or even Republicans, at this point. It will all change in time

May 27, 2012 - Much of our industry moved out because of taxes AND because of labor costs. Now, some are coming back to the US because labor cost overseas has risen and our govenment is (slowly) making it better for companies to do business here...much more work needs to be done on that issue. Also, there has been a BIG movement of buying American manufactored goods first! Why buy an American flag, made in China, when you can buy one made here? More & more people are thinking before they buy! It's a start.
