Sep 18, 2010 - ...Seriously, you watch this and feel the need to post about the guys sleeves!?!

BostonBirdman42 Says:

Sep 18, 2010 - @marlveble I was jst saying. Jeeze calm down. The nation hides it's Christian background because WE ARE TOLERANT OF OTHER RELIGIONS!!!

haelcm Says:

Sep 18, 2010 - i love history but i never ever had a hint of what the captial did in the past or our forfathers either. thanks for the info.

BigDally13 Says:

Sep 18, 2010 - Ok, lol. If you won't make an attempt then, hey, whatever. I don't need to hear you say what is and isn't credible considering you're the one who just needed a history lesson and you come back at me saying that I need to go to wikipedia. And (dot) edu means nothing. Because the majority of our educational institutions have been overrun by marxists and communists (honest truth) that want to distort history.

flbesq Says:

Sep 18, 2010 - Obviously the product of a good liberal education. I don't blame him that he knows absolutely nothing about the history of this country other than what he has been spoon feed by Marxist professors and teachers.

webby1960 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Why should we believe only textbooks, while have you been lied to? When you study history you study all aspects of history and the capitol and all its aspects are easily available. Pick and choose history...is what Barton is doing, look at the whole picture...study each of the forefathers...I think it is neat that he is pickin' and choosin' but don't stop with this guy's lesson...explore the full extent, it lies simply on the internet.

thwonk121 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - If you can change what people think about history, it'll change what they think about the present.

oedeok Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Hello!!!!!!!! Congress printed the first English version of the Bible? There is a red flag right there. Got Romans 13? How about when the early Christians told native Americans to follow Christianity or they will bee killed. They dont tell you that very often either. There does that change anything?

lungcancercure Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - It's in the Constitution, ie, private ownership of Copyright and Trademarks.

katfordyce1 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - HOW GREAT THOU ART OH MY GOD! WHAT HAS BECOME OF OUR COUNTRY. WONDER WHY OUR COUNTRY IS IN THE STATE IT IS IN?

marshhawk5 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - It is amazing how far we have strayed (or have been deliberately steered) off course.

EvanWilding Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Yeah we've gone way too far off of worshiping Odin, and honestly anyone not sacrificing to Odin is helping perpetrate this course! Sacrifice or die!

gamergirl11 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - So many lies...my brain, it hurts!

lacaliffa1288 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Yes, What has become of our country indeed! We don't seem to learn from the Constitution and the lessons of Middle East & historical violence caused by forcing our religious beliefs on others. It was not by accident the the Founders did not mention the Bible or Christianity in the U.S. Constitution. They were victims of religious oppression. Beck & Baron's claims, as usual, are false and a complete distortion of Aiken's printing of the Bible. Why does anyone believe Beck anymore?

lacaliffa1288 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Of course they tell us of those things. Otherwise, how would you know? We still have some Americans today trying to force their faith on others. Isn't that exactly what Beck, Barton, and the religious right are still trying to do. The strength of our Constitution still protects us from zealots. The fact that we have the freedom to worship our own faith or choose not to is still protected but only if we continue to oppose these efforts and expose their lies. Freedom is ours to defend.

lacaliffa1288 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Fear not! Our nation & the right to worship our own faith is still protected by the U.S. Constitution. Those who would force any religion on individuals will not prevail but that doesn't stop them from trying. We must continue to defend everyone's rights if we want to protect our own. These false claims about our Founders are easily dismissed because they purposely wrote freedom of religion in the 1st Amendment. None are free unless all are free. Our nation; strong for over 200 yrs

lacaliffa1288 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - truly profound!

lacaliffa1288 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - The "red flag" is because it is false. Congress did not.

DEricKesler Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - The United States of America is a secular nation. The Founding Fathers did not even mention God in either the U.S. Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Furthermore, they did not create any laws or issue any proclamations to promote or ensure the prosperity of the Christian faith. There is not one single legal document that can be cited as legal precedent or that is considered binding in a court of law that supports the claim that the United States of America is a Christian nation.

kbwrede Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - It was absolutely and most certainly founded around Christianity and the Christian Faith with the goal to allow all religions to be practiced in the US.

rocdad Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - Guy looks like a frigging Nazi!

platypusrex256 Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - do you watch true blood? "of course its true! ...its in the bible! ...and the constitution!"

jhovahnissi Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - @oedeokHe said the first english Bible printed in America. Not the first english bible printed.

doctorcureton Says:

Sep 19, 2010 - "Complete Liar" is a bit strong, don't you think? The burden of proof is on you to justify your claim. I have been asked to block you from the thread. While I disagree with many of your comments, if you will stay away from character assasination, I will allow you to stay. If not....
