Nov 30, 2011 - its called Kickboxing or K-1 if you want to go pro. kickboxing was a creation of karate to allow such rules. Under Kyokushin rules head punches are not allowed because it can lead to cuts way too easily and have blood everywhere since they are fighting bare knuckle.

Apr 4, 2012 - I have never seen a Muay Thai practitioner beat a karateka in the street whether a real fight or friendly sparring with street clothes on to test themselves. Maybe in a Muay Thai ring but in a fight with no gloves I don't think so or I have yet to see it.
