Mar 13, 2012 - with the most planes today that doesn't actually work, I heard that they have a mechanism in the gears which unlocks the reverser when there is pressure on the landing gear...

KitCloudkickerUK Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - You can't, It's been designed with safety features that prevent an opening in the air, The throttle has to be idle, Altitude has to be at ground level and the airspeed has to be 0kph before the safety features are deactivated.

Mar 15, 2012 - venezuela flag o/

CaptainKorhonen Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - Using the altimeter to check if the plane is on the ground isn't very accurate. They're most likely unlocked by the same switch that causes the spoilers to extend after touchdown.

KitCloudkickerUK Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - That's why there are more than 1 safety features built into the aircraft and spoiler extension isn't one of them as You can still deploy the reverse thrusters regardless of the spoiler position. The altitude reading can be adjusted via the calibration knob on the altimeter itself to rectify different pressure density altitude readings either in units of Hectopascals (Hpa) or Inches of mercury (InHg),The engineers can override the safety features when working on any aircraft for maintenance.

Mar 25, 2012 - Jesus Christ, people, Google is your friend. This is a DELTA AIR LINES 767-300ER in the old livery from the early-2000s. This is not a Venezuelan airline and it's not Aeroflot.

Apr 6, 2012 - Hello? this is the old livery for Delta Air Lines

MegaJohnhammond Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - do you work for jet blue?

Ladyboyloverxxx2 Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - no,but i've learned recently it's not possible to deploy the reverser's during flight.

michaelnz40 Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - If it was possible, you would crash and die... honestly.

michaelnz40 Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - Systems like this are enabled when there is weight on wheels. Microswitches on the landing gear tell the aircraft's computer that the aircraft's weight is on the landing gear.

ravenkike Says:

Apr 14, 2012 - Clearly! But is very curious that the lights create the Venezuelan flag in the engine.. just casualty

ravenkike Says:

Apr 14, 2012 - The lights make a trick with that hahahaha... its exactly the Venezuelan flag..

ravenkike Says:

ravenkike Says:

Apr 14, 2012 - MEXICAN? VENEZUELA??? Take a map and check what kind of stupidity are yousaying!

Neno8403 Says:

Apr 14, 2012 - Tell that to the 223 victims who died on Lauda Air Flight 004, a Boeing 767-300ER that crashed due to an uncommanded in-flight thrust reverser deployment.

deathsebxxx Says:

Apr 16, 2012 - OMG your one retarded ignorant

michaelnz40 Says:

Apr 18, 2012 - Think about what you just said for a second; what language do they speak? Mexico must have "stolen" it from Spain!...

michaelnz40 Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - In a modern turbojet, like this one, most of the air entering the intake actually goes through the fan in the front, not the "core" or jet. The sleeve that moves backwards in this video moves blocker doors in the cold stream duct behind the fan to block the airflow. This directs it out the sides of the engine through vains that become exposed when the sleeve moves backwards. The exhaust from the engine doesn't get reversed, just the thrust from the fan. Try looking up a diagram.

cypher3103 Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - Probably not, this noise is almost unhearable due to the engine drowing in out. You might be talking about the noise the landing gear makes when it drops. (which sounds almost the same when inside an aircraft)

Dorian181 Says:

May 11, 2012 - if it had gone back and forth one more time i would have cum in my pants
