They started classical, folk, bluegrass, heavy metal (even though it has roots in rock and roll, it is definately not the same), electronic dance music (Germans & europeans). Mar 8, 2012 - No doubt in the U.S. black created music dominates. I was a DJ in Chicago for years. House and Techno are huge in Europe. Even though black people started those two genres they would'nt exist if it were not for the Europeans pioneering electronic music and I love classical music too man. I understand your point though. I think a lot of it has to do with black folk being spread out all over the world which leads to diversity with music.
