Feb 6, 2012 - Wow. Congrats: you are the SINGLE WORST audience member I've ever come across. It's been said that "intellect is invisible to the man who has none" and the same is true with you; having no brain and NO TASTE, you haven't a clue what constitutes talent in ANY field, especially filmmaking.I wouldn't brag about being a Private too much. You'll be one when you're 90.
nyyankeefanforlife Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - Chrysler should still spend more time on cars and comin up with new models like Ford and now, even gm
rosskstar Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - Clint's the man....85 and still getting it done
coachbrp Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - When global warming continues, food prices skyrocket and the world economy continues to collapse, the last thing they will need is our gas guzzling engines. Half time? How about, good game, and time for a new one.
ladylordess Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - What IS American anymore? We have auto's that are not American and made in America and American cars made outside the US, sold as American. Buy what you like and let the FREE market rule.
desirefirst Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - but Mexicans and Chinese are harder workers, so i'll buy them instead
wilfredotour3 Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - I bought a 2012 Toyota Tundra, a Japanese truck, the 26th of July of 2011, one day before the day when the Pearl Harbor invasion took place. Asking why? Well because Japan makes better cars/trucks.
krnpowr Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - The problem is that other countries don't play by the same rule. They have no qualms dumping their products onto America, but they impose extremely high tariffs on all imports.
limwang75 Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - i would buy ur pieces of shit american car but 90% of the car part mad in china im vietnamese all my relative work there for chunk change and they have college d gree there a aer assemble in 3rd world countries that why american car dont las t long part worn out fast so buying american car help china and other country more
ladylordess Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - Why should any country play by the rules that another country sets? I just love the hypocrisy of "buy American" when the only thing American about these companies any longer are the bailout dollars and the greedy unions.
TheYoungTurdz Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - LOL This ad wasn't even filmed in Detroit!!! Oh, that is classic!
kafantaris2 Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - Thank you, Mr. Bush. Thank you, Mr. Obama. And thank you, Mr. Eastwood. Well done, indeed.
DoneWithDogma Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - what you just explained IS the "free" market, American companies move overseas for the sole purpose of taking advantage of lax and frankly pathetic labor laws like they have in China and India, 60% of our imports from China are from American companies in China.
SnugglePuma Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - I'm confused, Republicans don't like this because it is pro American? Wouldn't have seen that coming, but these people will do anything to destroy the country if it means getting reelected...
ladylordess Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - @tixmastr You are pathetic as always. I choose to work. You choose to whine.
ladylordess Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - American companies move overseas as that it is not against the law. When our government makes the corporate tax laws favorable, and stops meddling with their ability to do business, America will see a return of business. Taxes and Unions are responsible for the flight out of America. Don't like it? Stop buying and supporting what you say you dislike. THAT is the free market.
DoneWithDogma Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - well despite the fact that I have no other choice than to be a consumer of a free market which I support(as long as it's actually free and not a form of feudalism)Chinese workers are treated like mice turds eg. foxconn, apple ect. with mass 'suicide protests', corporations value money over human well-being simply because they are entities that can only look after their own profits, and conservatives seem to be very eager to let them capitalize on every inch of society
TheCobalt100 Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - Ha! Eastwood never said much in all those movies. He had an economy of words in those films. Now he's talking-- a lot. I would hope that he would apologize for making all those incredibly bad films depicting him as the savior of the entire world.
ladylordess Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - @tixmastr LOL. So you have your's and every one else can "cram it"?? LOL.Pathetic Whiner! (whiner is not the same as winner) FYI!!
MOAONAABE Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - I have 2 rams, dodge needs to start taking better care of their customers. knowm service issues ignored by dealerships loses customers.
Liberty4Ever Says:
Feb 12, 2012 - Buy American? Nice sentiment, but Chrysler is majority owned by Fiat, an Italian car company, and manufactures automobiles and parts in Canada and Mexico. I think on whole, you'd do more to support American jobs buying a domestically produced Honda, Nissan, etc. At least tax payers weren't forced to bail out these Japanese owned car companies.
Liberty4Ever Says:
Feb 12, 2012 - The marketing expert in this video claimed that having Clint Eastwood in the commercial was a good investment because it made the ad more likely to go viral. But I noticed that the ad itself has been pulled from YouTube and all I can find is the news videos and commentaries about the ad. What's up with that? Maybe it went viral in a bad way?Good parody of the ad here: watch?v=-j_8qCbHsUA
craijona Says:
Mar 5, 2012 - Honda and Nissans are mostly made in Japan, where as American companies build a lot more in the U.S. And plus, even if a vehicle is made in another country, the "profit" ultimately comes back to the AMERICAN owners, which then buy things in their home country, which then spurs on more economic growth! Chaa ching!

TheUSMetalhead Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - lol Eastwood is an amazing actor and director. I agree the bailouts were criminal, but don't shoot the messenger of an ad.
