May 26, 2012 - limiting special move usage(cuz spamming kamehamehas was retarded), the addition of lots of tactics in the game, a real story mode, realistically sized bosses, and character creation were all great adds. as well as the improved graphics. If they put back in a real combo system and improve on the adds they've made it'll be the best dbz game ever created. Give them a break, it's only the first installment. remember that tenkaichi 1 sucked too

May 26, 2012 - tactics? the biggest flop in this game is the lack of control over your character, let alone tactics. plus every fight consists of the exact same routines and combos (which or the most part u just watch rather than actually do), so what tactics are u on about? but yeah i agree, if they put a real combo system back in (in other words, completely change the gameplay) it would be the best dbz game, because the story mode is layed out just like the series and adds like hero mode are good ideas

May 27, 2012 - the game is COMPLETELY about tactics. i see so many ppl play wrong it's not even funny. example-> using quick time event charging for no reason. that uses up ur ki. shouldn't be done unless its the right circumstances, like if u have no ki and ur opponent could launch a super. same with in combat ki blast quick time, should be used when opponent goes into that unflinching combo move, which the player should only use when close, otherwise it runs out and ki gauge max goes down. I'm not saying

May 27, 2012 - the tactics are excellent, for example super counters need to be stronger cuz supers r overpowered, one ki filled alone should let u half the damage, reflect should happen auto, max should be auto reflect back at the opponent, and they should allow u to respond to supers w/ ur own super reguadless of the defend system. with the tactics fine tuned and a much better combo system added it could not only play awesomely but now actually look like dbz

May 27, 2012 - i don't really know what ur on about, i've only played it twice. maybe i'd enjoy it more if i familiarised myself with it. but i know i don't like the way they've tried to make it more cinematic with all the switching camera angles, harder to see what's actually happening. and i hate the way u can't do a combo without it giving dramatic camera angles and going into that mode where u hit the enemy back and fourth, moving the stick pressing "x" or "square" between each hit.

May 27, 2012 - correct me if im wrong but.. it looks like they took out the freestyle fighting action which really sucks... it looks like with every certain attack you make, it goes to a cutscene-style unblockable barrage of moves.... if so... this game is ruined... the freestyle fighting was its best... and did they also take out the open-world roaming??? is it back to where you can't go anywhere unless your oppenent follows you, like in the first budokai games??.... so awful

May 27, 2012 - i disagree... in this game, you don't seem to have that free-fighting system...it looks like with every certain attack you make, it goes to a cutscene-style unblockable barrage of moves... so pretty much who ever gets the first hit, gets a whole combo on you... unlike the others where it was more free-will fighting.. DBZ BT3 was the best one in my opinion.. then raging blast was fun

Even though, it is offered for me as a gift for free. But unluckily, there's no RB2 nor RB to buy from the regular store that provides the free offer of Ultimate Tenkaichi. Ah well, at least I am getting Skyrim! >D
