Feb 16, 2012 - just listen to gaines-rossington-collins !! i get chills just listening to it over and over.!! i remember Mr. Van Zant (may he rest in peace) stating that he loved to sing barefoot because he loved how the stage burned ,,,,,,fuckin amazing man....he loved to play football with the kids...he was a real hell of a guy....i saw them in miami in 75 and they were fuckin unreal !! what a show these guys put on !!

Mar 23, 2012 - Why are none of the rest in the tribute band? Allen , Gary and Judy. Ronnie wife got together after the plane crash and signed a contract. Saying they could NOT tour under the Lynyrd Skynyrd name. If they didnt have 3 original member's in the band. It was called the rule of 3. But now they are touring with 1/one original member in the band. When they could have 3 originals in the band. I wonder who was the one that ran and hide in the woods at the crash site? I guess God has a sense of humor!!!!

Yeah Ed was the founding of the Strawberry Alarm Clock band. Yeah it was Ed that hired Ronnie and his band Lynyrd Skynyrd to open for his band. This is how Ronnie and Ed became GREAT friends. When Ed shut down the band. Ronnie ask him to join Skynyrd as they were stale or flat. Ed added a new spark to the band. Ed was not fired.
