May 26, 2012 - I think you'll find that any song that uses the tonic, dominant, and super-tonic fits under the description you just gave. It's an acoustic song, it's just what you do, whether you're popular or not. Open chords sound better than barred ones, and there's a limited amount of those, so you use a capo to change keys. I can't think of any reason why that should mitigate someone's musical aptitude.
